Description
This fountain in Seattle caught my attention. Not so much because of fountain itself, but because of the shadows.
If water is clear, how does it make a shadow? There are several factors including the angle of the light source but with the water moving around as seen by the edges of the shadow, it’s bending the light. In more technical terms, it’s refracting the light.
